I'll give it a try this afternoon. Sort of a twist on an old standby. Dubliner Artichoke Dip ------------------------------ ------------------------------ -------------... more »

Uncooked Spring Roll Wrappers
Two weeks ago I bought a disk of the dried kind; opened it,used half, then closed the disk-packaging. Not an air-tight seal, but the wraps were totally dried. Two weeks later I made spring rolls again--the uncooked variety. This time the rolls once wrapped were sticky as sticky. Stuck to the plate and to each other. Tasted fine but I'm curious about the stickyness.... more »

Kitchen Weirdness
From one of the recent threads I discovered some strange habits I have in the kitchen. One of them is keeping a bottle of reconstituted lemon juice in the fridge when I rarely use it. I always buy an bottle when I run out or the current bottle doesn't smell too great. Also out of habit I buy those small baggies that hold just one sandwich. I never use them. I've... more »

Fajita seasoning recipe
Does anyone have a simple recipe for Fajita seasoning. I don't want to use the one sold. The grocery store put it on the meat and re-warp it for me but it's salty even though he put just enough for the meat. Someone once told me to put fresh lemon juice and salt but I want a little more fancy than that.... more »

Grilling Whole BIG Fish?
Okay, so I was at the supermarket and they had whole mahi mahi. They were small for mahi mahi--about 3 1/2 lbs--but still a lot bigger than the whole fish I usually buy; that is, bass or trout usually running no bigger than a bit over a pound each. They were also very will priced. So I bought one. Now... more »
